Layaway is nice!

 We put this cabinet on layaway.  It is going to be for our tv in the family room.  We have never had the tv so high before...but we think it will be fine when we get used to it...it will be a bit lower than above a fireplace mantle. 

 This china hutch we also put on layaway for the formal dining room...It needs a tad bit of refinishing only on the top ...the rest we will leave.

 We put some blue and white pottery on it ...so I could see what it would look like as that is what I collect and will have all over this hutch.

It is quite tall but we have almost 10 ft high ceilings in most rooms and in that room so it will be fine.  The area I was going to put it in is 8 ft across...this is 6 ft wide...so it will be just perfect...a ft on each side so it does not look cramped.  I am pretty excited.  She gave us a good deal for the 2 pieces...but they are still quite the investment!
